Plantjesmarkt
Flowers always remind me of my mom, hopping from one blossom to another like a little girl finding her happy place. There are so many beautiful flowers and plants on this market. Simply strolling amidst them makes my day better.

Kushiin
Not only is their coffee great, but the staff is also amazing, and their salty caramel cake is to die for! Also, keep your Shazam open as you might want to know every song they’re playing. They also serve delicious food, especially the brunch. On top of all that, they offer Wi-Fi and power outlets, making it a convenient spot to work. And the cherry on top? It's located right next to the library, so when they close, I just move to the library.

Cha Cha Bubble tea & Coffee
This is one of my favorite bubble tea places in the Netherlands, especially during summer so that I can drink their special iced tea with the amazing tapioca or the other jellies. And the staff is so friendly. I also tried warm bubble tea here for the first time in my life and now I can’t go without their warm green apple tea with mango jelly.

Music complex Tivoli Vredenburg
Lemongrass Chai Latte at Tivoli’s café is to die for! Also, I’ll never forget when my mom ordered a ginger tea there and they brought her a huge chunk of ginger in a hot water… We then realized that in the Netherlands a mint tea, for example, is just hot water with mint leaves. Don’t you just love learning new things about different countries?

Shopping centre Hoog Catharijne
This is easily my favorite place in Utrecht. I can get lost here for hours and always find something to do. I love that it has everything from Amazing Oriental, Bruna bookstore, and Action to clothing stores, Lush, and countless other shops, as well as great restaurants.

Griftpark
As I wander aimlessly around Griftpark, I forget about my stress. I just focus on the green scenery, the ducks leisurely swimming in the pond, and the trees. If you take a break from studying, I highly recommend taking a stroll in the park, as it can be a rejuvenating experience for the soul.

University Library City Centre
They say struggling with other people is better than struggling alone so I come to the library to remind myself that it is not just me. It is everyone and if they can do it, I can also do it.

De Vechtsebanen Sports & Businesscampus
I absolutely adore the fact that there's a cozy spot to relax, grab a bite and sip on something refreshing after skating with your friends. I will forever remember my experience here, my falls especially (LOL I am not a great skater, I come from a dessert place). Also, it was the best place to be at, while celebrating Valentine’s Day with my friends.
