Book shop Broese
I always spend hours in Broese, just wandering around and browsing through the books. As an international student, I really appreciate the wide selection of English books.

NODA Eetbar & Deli
This is one of my favorite spots in the city center for working or studying. It’s the coffee shop inside the city library, and it’s somewhat of a hidden gem. You can access it by taking the elevator located at Oude Gracht, next to Broese.

Parnassos Cultural Center
I highly recommend that every UU student look into Parnassos and its diverse range of courses. Whether you’re interested in burlesque, photography, or guitar lessons, Parnassos has something for everyone!

NAR
NAR is always a lot of fun. It's definitely worth attending their concerts, as they frequently showcase exciting young artists.

Wilhelminapark
I have a soft spot for this place as many social events during my first year in Utrecht took place there.

Coffeecompany offers a great lunch deal - smoothie/coffee and toasties only for 8,40 Euro!

Pandhof at the Dom
This hidden gem will transport you straight to the gothic halls of Hogwarts!

Sports centre Olympos
Throughout September you can purchase an amazing student deal which is way cheaper than the standard fee.

Tea room Rhijnauwen
The place is known for its amazing pancakes. You can also get organic milk from one of the nearby farms.

Bookstore Steven Sterk
This bookstore is located right next to the Domtoren, making you feel truly at the heart of Utrecht. Their selection of books is excellent, both in Dutch and English, and the staff is always happy to assist.

Kushiin
Great people, great music, and a very convenient place to work or study. The cherry on top? It's located right next to the library, so after an intense study session, you can easily head over for some excellent coffee and delicious snacks.

University Library Science Park
I will forever remember all the “all-nighters” that I’ve pulled in the Science Park Library. It’s my go-to during all the exam weeks.

St. Martin's Cathedral and The Dom
Due to the construction work, I was only able to see the Dom in all its glory during my final year of studies, but I can assure you, it was worth the wait.
